In Wenzhou, Zhejiang, a rapidly developing city, the problem of construction and decoration waste disposal has become increasingly prominent, putting huge pressure on the urban environment. However, Wenzhou did not shy away from this challenge, but actively explored new paths for resource utilization and harmless treatment through a series of innovative construction and decoration waste treatment projects.

As an important part of Wenzhou City, Longwan District has taken the lead in taking a big step in recycling decoration waste. The district will establish a large-scale construction and decoration waste disposal center in Wenzhou in 2023, with an annual processing capacity of 600,000 tons. The project is located at the intersection of Tonghai Avenue and Jinhai 3rd Road, with a total construction area of approximately 11,600 square meters. Zhengzhou Zhongyi Machinery has introduced a complete set of construction and decoration waste treatment equipment, and adopts three-stage crushing, three-stage screening, three-stage winnowing and other automated decomposition and sorting lines to achieve comprehensive treatment and recycling of construction waste, decoration waste, and stale waste. According to estimates, the project can process at least 400,000 cubic meters of construction and decoration waste every year, achieving safe, environmentally friendly and efficient processing of construction and decoration waste.

Through crushing, sorting, classified recycling and other processes, the stones, fine sand, metals and combustibles in construction and decoration waste have been effectively utilized. For example, stones can be used for road maintenance, drainage ditches, etc., and metals can be recycled and reused. At the same time, the recycling of combustibles also provides alternative fuels for power plants and other energy companies, further promoting energy conservation and emission reduction.
